Health Service in foludhoo started only a family health worker by means of Family Health Section in Island office 1980.
Health post in foludhoo is provided by family health Worker. In 6 September 2007, start providing services in separate room it operated in a privately owned building same time the construction of new building for Health post started.

The main occupation of the people of uklas is fishing.. The island has 07 mechanised fishing vessels, some times fishing boat travel to Male for cargo and passenger lifting. It has 05 retail shops.
